My name is Sophia and If somebody asked me which character I identify myself with I would say that Anne from Green Gables looks exactly like me. She is the one who never gives up no matter how bitter her experience is, never misses any opportunity to start a life journey and she is the one who is not afraid of changes. So do I understand that life starts at the end of the comfort zone! I participated in FLEX program, spent one year in the USA, realized there were no borders in reality because we create them in our head. I saw the world full of people who were eager to volunteer and make the planet a better place to live in. I got motivated, gained experience and if I had a possibility to exchange my life of a traveller and volunteer onto a luxury one I would never do that. I want to share all my love and I do believe that one day there will be fairness and equality based on who you are and what you have achieved, not on what color your skin is or where you come from.
Foreign languages became a part of my soul, so I do my best to improve my knowledge of English, German, Spanish, French, Italian and Swedish every day. I sing in the choir and a wonderful world of traditional Ukrainian music opens to me every day! I am also doing archery I love handmade things, roller blading, hiking mountains and just watching the beauty of the night sky. For sure cooking and reading are among my favourite hobby. Every day I find something new about my character and through inside changes notice the outside changes.
Once I found a saying: "World is like an open book and those who do not travel have only read its first page." Since that time I know that through travelling you can understand yourself and feel this amazing world. But what can be a journey without getting to know people?
