About Me
First of all: I'm not able to host at the moment (at least it's very difficult), but if you need someone to show you around just ask me :)
************************************************************
Well, where shall I start...
My name is Sophie and after an exciting year of social working I'm now going to University to become a teacher for German, History and Soical Studies. I spent the last fall term at an international university in Venice, which was the most inspirational thing to do within the last years. In my free time I like meeting friends, listening to music, singing, reading, travelling... I'm part of the city council of my home town Germering - that keeps one busy!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When I was 14 years old I first heard about Couchsurfing. I was thrilled, because I love meeting new people, making new experiences, learning about different countries and cultures and so I got a chance to improve my English. It is a great idea to get away from money and back to human relationships. Back then I told my parents about it and soon after that we had an account on CS and have been hosting people from all over the world since then. Me and my Mom made first experiences as surfers in summer 2014 and little later I used CS for an Interrail journey with friends. In fall 2014 I moved out and for one year I had a fantastic flat and hosted frequently. Pitily it's not possible anymore - Since I started going to University I don't have enough money for a flat on my own anymore. I'm glad to have a room, but I'm not allowed to host people - Maybe I can help you finding a place round Munich anyway :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Books:
I'm reading pretty much, but most of it is German and sometimes not very popular.
One of my favorites though is War And Peace by Tolstoi. I got into reading it because of a bet - we've had a beer or two and didn't know how many pages it had. first 600 bored me to death, last 1000 were one of the best experiences of my (literary) life!
Oh, and the Kangaroo Chronicles! Although the english version is not as good as the German one I'd strongly reccommend it to you!
Music:
Actually I like many different kinds of music. It mostly depends on mood and situation, but I almost enjoy every kind of concerts if it's cozy and there's something to drink...
Movies:
My friends always complain that I hardly know any movies. You have the chance to change that!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Well, I don't know if this is really amazing but I got elected into the city council of my home town at the age of only 18. But actually that's not what I have done but the voters. ;)
