About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Exploring the world beyond my doorstep

ABOUT ME

A lot of things about me don't make sense: I am a typical 'globalization child', yet I was born in the USSR; I am a bookworm, who happens to like active leisure such as hiking or playing football; I am a very sociable person, yet I prefer traveling alone. I major in International Relations at university, even though I came to hate politics. I am always ready to try something new, be it sand-surfing or learning Chinese.

PHILOSOPHY

Life is but a trickle of sand running through your fingers, so in the end you will only feel those grains that stick so comfortably to your palms after all the others are long away.
I want to make my life feel worthy, so that after a couple of years, when I look back to the past, I will feel the difference. Change is crucial to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to meet people from other countries and cultures both by hosting them at my house and by visiting them in their home towns. I am ready to offer a coach to fellow travelers.
