Hi! I'm a small town girl that has a desire for more travel and meeting new people. Since my current employment doesn't allow me to be on the road, I figure inviting people to stay with me would be the next best thing! I believe experiences are way more important than things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Although my small town doesn't appear to be in large demand, I'm here if needed! I want to teach my family that there are still good people in the world and the more of them I can meet the better! Maybe then they won't think me opening my home to complete strangers is reckless HA!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted a handful of times and each time learned something new about people, cultures, and even our own government policies. Although I have surfed in the past - it was with friends of friends.

Love to play sports, shoot pool and sing karaoke, being exposed to new books, music and hobbies. I love to learn new things. Most importantly I want to see and experience the entire world and meet as many people as I can.

Morceaux de musique, films et livres

I like all sorts of music, the last 3 concerts I attended were: Ed Sheeran, Foo Fighters and Metallica. Movies I love Gran Torino, Under the Tuscan Sun and Step Brothers. I'm currently reading Jodi Picoult books. I also really enjoyed Pillars of the Earth and Into the Wild.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

I went surfing with my daughter in Hawaii! I tackled a black diamond in Aspen (note I did not say skied as I feel my skill level didn't warrant it a complete success)! Met a random local on a beach in Costa Rica, arranged a boat tour with friends, snorkeled with a ton of wildlife and ended the excursion with cocktails at sunset on the way back.

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

In the near future I will be trying to learn to play guitar, do yoga, and learn a language. I can teach fundamentals of billiards (& have a table in my home) and share stories, laughter and maybe a drink!
