Love live blues and reggae music, Jimmy Buffett (yes-I'm a Parrothead), and many independent artists. I have a passion for seafood (particularly shellfish) and wine-making. I love dark chocolate and red wine (they go good together!) I am a member of the Hash House Harriers and love the friends I've met through my experiences with the club. Have been fortunate to be on the 2010 & 2011 & 2012 and will be on the 2014 twice ,2015 and 2016 Legendary Rhythm & Blues Cruise. Love the music and the great friends met aboard the ship! Why I'm on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING Love to host international friends travelling through my part of Canada and meet new people to Red Deer. COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE Have had friends stay from Zimbabwe, Mexico, Switzerland, Jamaica, US and Canada but not through couch surfing just from meeting in my travels. Have couch surfed in New Zealand and Australia. It was by far the most postive and enlightening part of my trip. All hosts were wonderful and I look forward to hosting.

Teach, Learn, Share
Do volunteer work whenever possible - refugee dffort and tutoring for adult literacy. Learning Spanish and Djembe drum, harmonica and keyboards, and guitar.
My Interests
Scuba diving, sailing, skiing (all kinds), cycling, mountain biking whitewater rafting, photography, music festivals. If you come in summer I have rafts to do floats down the river. Love the ocean and the mountains and all the fun to have in each.
