About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I just try to find my route.

ABOUT ME

I'm just a guy who try to find his route and travel world.

I love books. I always read in my free time and travelling. You can see me with a book and headphones(probably listening music).

My job is mostly about computers but my favoruite job has been always working on a book store. I want to open my old book store.

PHILOSOPHY

Carpe Diem

Rules About Being Surfer;

If you you didn't read my profile I'm rejecting directly. Being Turk or Muslim doesn't give you any advence. I am not Muslim by the way, Pastafarian. If I don't see in messages "Paspal" word, mostly I am rejecting directly.

Also I don't accept anybody from Barcelona or Amsterdam. People who lives that cities they are not doing couchsurfing for me. They love themselves so much and they are not fitting couchsurfers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I always check Urgent Couch of my city(Istanbul). Also always read questions about Istanbul and try to answer them. These days I moved Izmir and I have new life here. Trying to get use this life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had over 150 surfers from all over world and still rising.

Interests

Books, Riding Motorcycle' Music, Theatre, Guitars, Boulder Climbing, Parkour, Tv Series, Photography, Books(Did I say it before?)

Also Motobikes. Riding is lifestyle for me. I have a bike and thinking to get second one. I love to travel with my bike very much.

I always want to have an old book store. I have over 600 books in my library and still rising.

I'm in a amateur theatre group in my school and was trained about acting.

I'm playing ultimate frisbee. I don't have team for now. I am going to join one of it soon.

I play guitar almost 11 years also I haven't played it almost 1 year. I work on a music studio and shop almost 5 years.

Photography is my passion but I always prefer anolog camera. I have Zenit 122 which made in 1992.

I'm a good watcher of TV Series. I prefer UK ones instead of Turkish ones. I have two favorite TV series; My Name Is Earl and Breaking Bad. I can watch them over and over again.

Parkour and Boulder are fror helping my adrenaline passion.

Did I say I love books? I always carry two books in my bag. I don't read them same time. One of them is backup.

Music is a passion in my life. The most serious one. I can play several instrument (guitar, turkish tradational instrument baglama, little bit harmonica and little bit piano). I always carry my mp3 player(nowadays I'm using an IPod Touch) and my little harmonica. I always listen music outside or working. You can see me always with headphones(Mostly I use Sennheiser cx300(it was broken :(( ) or hd202)

Teach, Learn, Share

For Istanbul;

You should probably read before come.

First of all get a Istanbul Card for cheap trip. You can buy it for 6 turkish lira and upload money how much you want. Also you don't have to buy two of it. One is enough for multiple people and you can give it back and take your money again.

Secondly get a map for turistic places and a map or application for which can show to you transportation(public).

Don't even think use taxis. Please don't, just don't.

If you want to hang out around Taksim you can go few good places which also always have Erasmus students(Eski Berut; Nayah and Muaf). However you should be careful about turning back your hostel because the public transportation(most of them) doesn't work after 12am.

Always leave your passaport at your place and take your idea also hang out your back in front of you. not back. Pickpocketers faster than you think. Because of that always separete yor money and don't take all of it.

Did I say don't trust taxis?

Have a good trip. I have already two surfers from Germany. We saw many things in Europen areas of Istanbul. Sorry I cannot join you but If you have qustions please just asked. I will answer as soon as possible.

Try to get a local friend from Istanbul.

As a surfer If you really need eat food but don't have money too much, you can use universities mess hall. They have always have got good and very cheap foods. I did it in Amsterdam.

Always try to give presents for your hosters. It always makes good impression about you.

For Tbilisi;

In the city If you going to use taxis never pay than 5 lari.
