First of all, I want to thank all the friends I have made during the last 8 years through Couchsurfing. You have made my life so much richer by sharing unforgettable moments, having fun together, discovering wonderful places around the world, and building friendships that cross borders and cultures. Thank you all! ⸻ Hello Couchsurfer, Before you continue reading, please don’t forget to read the section “My Home” at the end of my profile. Otherwise, you may not have a good chance of being hosted by me. And because of the still unbelievable situation that has been going on for more than four years: To all people who value peace, freedom, and human dignity: Help stop this war. Support Ukraine in defending its sovereign nation against Russian aggression. This message is directed against Vladimir Putin, those responsible for this brutal invasion, and everyone who actively supports or justifies this war. Thousands of innocent people have been killed, injured, or forced to flee their homes. Ukraine has the right to live in peace, freedom, and security. Stand with Ukraine. Speak up against violence, terror, and aggression. Stop the war. Support peace. Support Ukraine. ⸻ Now, a little bit about myself: I really love Couchsurfing. Over the years, I have hosted so many guests from all around the world. Most of them arrived as guests and left as friends. I am incredibly grateful for these experiences, and I think that when you read my references, you will understand why. I live in the beautiful city of Nuremberg, in the south of Germany (Northern Bavaria). I hope Couchsurfing will continue to give me the opportunity to meet interesting people from different countries and cultures. One thing about me first: I am gay and completely comfortable with it. 😉 And because I am often asked: “Is it a problem that I’m not gay?” My answer is: “Absolutely NOT!” For me, Couchsurfing is not a platform for looking for gay people. I simply mention that I am gay to avoid any misunderstandings or awkward situations. You are welcome!

One Amazing Thing I've Done
I met two guys, they stayed at my home each for several days. I was great to talk with them and change views of living and experiences. That was the reason for me to participate here at couchsurfing. Also... Five musicians from Ukraine and all stayed at my flat (don’t ask me how :)) but this was the best time I had since years. Five new very good friends in a couple of days. They are the reason why Ukraine is my most favorite country. Meanwhile I have more then 20 friends there. And my maximum number of guets at one time: 9 members of a music band 🤣 (Don't ask me how .. but it was possible) And I’ll never forget my three girls from Poltava / Ukraine. We laughed so much. And many more very nice people from all over the world. Look at my references. THAT is the reason for beeing and practising couchsurfing. And I am visiting cities and countries I never thought before to go there. Update April 2019: meanwhile i visited my CS friends in Paris, Rom and finally the Ukraine. Last one was my most unforgettable travel in my live. Thanks all my friends so far in France Italy and the Ukraine. August 2019: Again Ukraine (Lviv Odessa Winnyzja Chernihiv and Kyiv 👍👍👍👍). August 2020: because of closed borders (Corona) I could not travel to Ukraine, therefore: Prague, Zgorzelec, Wroclaw, Poznań, Gdańsk, Warsaw, Košice, Krakow, Auschwitz-Birkenau. August 2021: Finally again in Ukraine where I met 20 !! of my friends there! August 2022: 23 cities in 22 days thru Germany (3 in France). What a wonderful Tripp for 9€ 🤣 January 2024: I visited Lviv in 🇺🇦 and I had the change to meet two of my friends. Summer 2024: A tour thru Prague, Cracow, Poznań, Berlin, Strasbourg, Colmar and Vienna together with a very good CS friend from Berlin. April/may 2025: my first time in Türkiye, 8 cities and I met 7 of my friends there. Great time.

What I Can Share With Hosts
I know Nuremberg very good. Live here since 1999. I can show you the most interesting things here, same for Prague, my second home, where I have been nearly 80-120 days a year (between 2017 and 2019). Also cooking together. Hanging out in city or when I have time go outside the city. If you have any allergies against food or because of religious or healthy reasons… let me know! I try to handle as good as possible.
My Interests
Wellness, Sauna, city trips, my garden 🪴 🐈 (especially my two tigers), Prague, UKRAINE 🥰 and of course: my friends worldwide.
