Hi folks, I’m Stef! Where to start? I’m 33 yo, Italian girl, born and raised in a little town by the Alps and Lake Maggiore, in North Italy. Since I spent most of my life surrounded by mountains, I feel totally free and at peace when I'm on the peak. I find it the best way to meditate. I love good food, good wine and good company. I will never say no to a friend’s invitation and I will never refuse to “fit an extra seat at the dinner table”. I love to have friends over as much as I love to visit them wherever they are; to be part of their life, share experiences and feel home away from home. I would describe myself as an open-minded, honest, curious and friendly person. I love adventures, I like to try new things, find new hobbies and spend my time with my friends. I love travelling, especially for long periods. This way I am able to immerse myself in the culture, and I can experience more and understand the people and their values better. I’m fascinated by a variety of people, those who are slightly non-conformist and confident in their individual weirdness. I simply admire people who are themselves. As Italians, I can be quite loud, passionate, rude and straightforward. I enjoy watching any kind of sports on TV, doing puzzles, watching documentaries and going to festivals. I lived in England on and off for 3.5 years, and in the Netherlands for 3 years so I am used to sharing common spaces. Now, I live in Brussels, juggling work and free time.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love travelling, meeting new people from all walks of life, share experiences and good vibes and I think CS is one of the best way to do it. It reminds me there still lots of good people around.

I love any type of music. Books: Women who run with wolves, 1984, Shantaram, Bunny
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I did the Camino de Santiago from France to Muxia on foot. Also, I saw the most beautiful sunset of my life in Scotland.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach a bit of yoga and some Italian recipes. I open to learn anything you can teach me :)
What I Can Share With Hosts
I can bring food, beers and smiles, or cook and enjoy together some Italian dishes :)
My Interests
I like to talk with anyone who has something to tell, to teach, to share. I’m a nature and animal lover. I enjoy spending time with my dog when I’m at home. I like reading, running, travelling, trekking, bouldering, cycling, and practising yoga. I would love to improve my French or at least learn another language. Live more sustainably.
