About Me

I recently left my well paid job as data scientist to follow my dream to be a writer. Now I am poorer (under the money point of view) but plenty of free time to travel while trying to find artistic and creative ispiration. Of course my flat just ouside Milan is open to host people with an interesting personality.

I am an easygoing intellectual, always eager to dive into deep conversations as much as to find myself out of my comfort zone in uncommon situations. I love to talk but I appreciate even to stay by myself, so it is your choice how to spend your time with me :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meet new people from different cultures (hosting and be hosted) and travel low cost, what else could I ask for? Always wanted to try, now I have the time to travel and a place where to host :) Eager to explore these opportunities.

Music, Movies, and Books

Film: my three favourite directors probably are Darren Aronofsky, David Lynch and Gaspar Noe. I spent a lot of time watching movies and I love the most uncommon ones.

Books: I am in love with dirty realism, such as Henry Miller, John Fante and Charles Bukowsky but even with short stories writers like Jorge Louis Borges, Edgar Allan Poe and Dino Buzzati.

Music: I follow a wide range of musician, lately I have rediscovered the pleasure to be in a pit with metal/punk music. The best concert I ever attended is the one of Igorrr.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I believe the most amazing things happen in our minds and not necessarily while doing things. Anyway I am plenty of strange stories to tell :)

Teach, Learn, Share

If you like to have suggestions about books or movies, play chess and other games, learn italian, get drunk, or simply spend the time walking around together talking about our deepest thought, I am the right person.

I will love to learn French, new recipes and of course new points of view about lifestyles and arts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My presence should be enough. Just joking, but I offer all my ability to keep interesting and deep conversations going. Off course I volunteer to any domestic job needed, I assume it is the foundation of asking ospitality to someone.

Countries I’ve Visited

Croatia, Czech Republic, England, France, Germany, Ireland, Spain
