About Me
Hello and congrats, you found my profile!
i'm Steph, 20 years old and there are three things I love more than anything - my dog, tolkien and nature. recently i moved from vienna, my home town, to bavaria. first i lived in munich and even though i adore the city, it just wasn't right for me and now im living in the most beautiful village called Schliersee. look it up, it has everything a hiker desires! (a sea, mountains and mini golf. and cute, old houses.)
Update: i have a Couch now so i do accept guests whenever they want to come around!! And if you get the chance to visit munich and you want to a) grab some coffee and chill at the Isar, b) explore unknown streets or c) want to leave the big city behind and give the beautiful Schliersee a chance, do not hesitate to message me!
have a great day x
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
because I love my new home and I want to show other people how gorgeous it is here. and well, who doesn’t love meeting new people and hearing stuff about countries they’ve never been to? (Preferable over a glass of wine or beer)
Interests
It might happen that I’ll tell you everything about my dog which I had to leave with my parents. You’ll definitely see pictures. Her name is Luna and she is the love of my life.

Music, Movies, and Books
oh god.
my music taste varies from extremly prestigious indie to easy dance pops. i love love love florence and the machine, leonard cohen and garish. but i'm also my dad's daughter, so everything from pink floyd, ac/dc, steppenwolf,... is my jam.
favourite books? my fave two authors are: j.r.r. tolkien and jane austen. weird combination, but those two are my everything. other than that i like murakami, ferdinand von schirach and juli zeh a lot.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
once my boyfriend wanted to surprise me and drove me to the großglockner. a road without safeguards, high in the mountains, where you had to drive as far on the right (where the abyss was) so the other car coming from the opposite direction could pass. on this day it was my chance to tell him about my fear of heights.
and as exciting as the other story: my store bought basil only died after a month, so my green thumb is pretty extreme.
