My name is Stephanie and I'm 21 years old. I am currently studying Applied Psychology and Gender & Women's Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago. And, I've lived in California for 13 years, Chicago for 8 years, and am spending the summer of 2016 living, studying, and working in Barcelona, Spain.

During my stay in Barcelona for the summer, I usually take the weekends to travel and will be traveling Europe for a couple weeks after my internship program ends to meet new people, experience new things, learn about different cultures, and experience different ways of life.

I think couch surfing might be an awesome way to meet locals, get to know their stories, and learn about different cultures during my short stays.
