See as much of the world as I can and get to know people from many different cultures while doing so!
It's pretty much a given being a member on here, but I love traveling. The first time I went abroad was with my high school band, and I knew right then that I wanted to see the world. My experiences since than have only solidified that decision.I work in retail at the moment but am preparing to leave in January 2016 for the World Race, an 11 month mission trip to 11 different countries. If you'd like to know more about it feel free to ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
~ Munich ~ Vienna ~ Budapest ~ Prague ~ Dortmund ~ Denver ~ Baltimore
Plus attending a few CS gatherings-in Budapest, Prague, Pamplona, and Minneapolis.
I love the fact that you get to know your host and hear about things from a completely different perspective than you may be used to! One thing that has also been great has been the chance to go to a few CS meetings. They are a great way to meet a lot of people-locals and other travelers-and hear stories about their own experiences!
Music (both listening to it and performing with my Sweet Adeline's chorus), reading, theatre, traveling, speaking Spanish, getting out into nature to go camping or hiking, photography (though I've never taken any sort of class, it's something that I'd definitely be interested in!)
Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: The Sound of Music, The Little Mermaid, The Green Mile, The Shawshank Redemption, Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, The Prince and Me, No Reservatons, and I also love Bollywood movies!
TV: Doctor Who, Once Upon a Time, Merlin, Crime dramas
Music: Barbershop (my favorite quartet is OC Times-google them!), Martina McBride, Rascal Flatts, Juanes, La Oreja de Van Gogh, Laura Story, Jesús Adrian Romero
Books: Harry Potter, My Sister's Keeper, The Fault in Our Stars, Paper Towns
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One amazing thing I have done is work as a camp counselor. My fellow counselors were all amazing people, and I was able to learn new lessons from each group of campers as well!
Adventure-wise, one of my most amazing experiences was a glacier landing flight in Denali National Park in Alaska. It was absolutely breathtaking!
Teach, Learn, Share
If you happen to have a spare piece of string laying around I can teach you a few string tricks! I know a couple card games too...and of course, I'd be more than happy to teach a bit of Spanish or English if you don't know one of those languages and would like to know how to say something!
As far as learning, I'd be willing to find out a bit about pretty much anything of interest to whoever it happens to be that I'm with...be it random facts, a language, a game of some sort, cooking, etc.
