I've lived in a bunch of different places including Montreal, Philadelphia, and Boston, Mass before settling in Portland, Oregon. I enjoy traveling and getting outside for hiking, biking, and exploring new landscapes. Some of my favorite trips in recent years include a winter trip to Iceland for a music festival and a trip to Japan and Korea last Spring. I have a background in neuroscience and am fascinated by humans. I enjoy thinking about and reading about many different intellectual and cultural perspectives through literature, philosophy, and film. I'm not religious but I am fascinated by religion and enjoy reading different books that either broaden my perspective or give me fuel and perspective for navigating this life. I've been a dedicated meditator for the past 7 years.
