2025 Update

Currently in Australia working at Adelaide Fringe. Going to be on tour in NSW in April, finishing up in Sydney. To get back home I’m going via New Zealand, French Polynesia and San Fransisco, hoping to make some new friends along the way.

I’m a working musician from Edinburgh in Scotland. I play in an alt folk band called The Jig Show, we write our own music along with putting on heavy metal ceilidhs.

I also work from time to time in the film industry, originally as a background extra (If you've seen Outlander, The Flash or Good Omens s2 amongst others you've probably seen my face 😅), but more recently I have been working as part of the crew.

I do have a Scottish accent, but a soft one so you should be able to understand me. Currently unable to host due to travelling myself.

The whole meeting people, exploring and travelling thing. An occasional roof to sleep under is also nice.

兴趣

I love hiking and running on trails, whether it's up a mountain, through a forest or by the sea. As a result I've gotten into photography too, some of which I post on Instagram when I have the time: stephen_fosterr

Music I have an interesting relationship with because it's a job as well as a passion.

Running, swimming and cycling (triathlon) are big on the agenda for me right now when I'm not injured, as well as getting to the gym. Generally just into sports and being fit and active.

I'm a Munro 'Compleatist'. I've been to the top of the 282 highest mountains in Scotland (all above 3000ft/915m).
