A 26yo Engineer living in London. I've lived here most of my life, with the exception of a brief spell up north (aka Winterfell) while studying. I love to travel and have been fortunate to visit places such as Kenya and Australia but there is still so much more I want to see.

I'd describe myself as outgoing and "up for anything". I enjoy being around loads of people, going out to parties or bars but also love a quiet night in with good conversation and tasty food and also very capable of doing my own thing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel, and quite frankly, don't get to do enough of it - darn job.

One of my favourite things about travelling is meeting new people from different walks of life with interesting stories and experiences. I think the best way to experience a new place is to actually live there, make an effort to learn the local language and meet the local people and I think Couchsurfing is a good way of doing this.

Interests

I'm a keen runner/cycler and love hiking too. I have recently taken up yoga, though very early days so don't expect great things. I love to cook, especially with others and a few beers/bottle of wine. I'm an engineer and good at fixing things, so please holla if you need help with anything.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I work in the audio industry and played the trombone in a jazz band through school and uni, so as you can probably tell I love my music. Favourite artists right now include Frank Ocean, Childish Gambino, Maribou State, Tash Sultana, Bon Iver. I love sharing music with others, so always keen to hear what you listen to.

Books: If I could travel the universe I'd love to it like in Douglas Adams, Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy. Currently making my way through the Terry Pratchet's Discworld Series. The other half of my bookshelf (no don't be silly i live in London, no space for a bookshelf) consists mainly of cook books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I ran a marathon to raise money for charity - couldn't walk properly for about 2 weeks afterwards.
