About Me
Hi Everyone! I am a high school world history teacher who was able to take part on an around the world sabbatical trip with my family from January through June 2024. We really had an amazing experience and met some amazing hosts. Now we are hoping to "pay it forward" by hosting out of our home near Durango, CO. Full disclosure that we will give priority to international surfers so that my two kids can continue in their cross-cultural educational quest.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Couchsurfing was one of the highlights of our entire around the world! We reflect fondly on a regular basis with the amazing experiences we had in Australia, New Zealand, Vietnam, South Korea, and Thailand. We can only hope that surfers who stay with us can have half the experience with us as we were able to with our amazing hosts!
NOTE: With two young children in the house, we have a lot of activities going on. Please give us at least one week notice in order to have the best chance of being able to stay with us!
