Overview
About Me
My name is Steve Tawk from Lebanon. I come from a village in the North ( Bcharre ) that is very touristic and people from all over the world come to visit.
I live and work in the capital; unfortunately, I don't have the means to host people here. However, I visit my hometown in the north once every few weeks, so if you happen to be there at the time, I would love to host you and show you around.
I have travelled a few times, but wouldn't call myself a traveler. In this part of the world, travel is a luxury that, if you decide to choose, you will have to give up many other things in life.
Besides that, I like to go Hiking, skiing, Climbing, and any other outdoor activity really. I also play a lot of Basketball during the week, mostly after work. I like the following topics: Politics, History, Philosophy, Physics, Astronomy, and Literature.
I am not so much into partying or alcohol, though I do love the science behind it, and for that reason, I know how every type of alcoholic beverage is made. I also love the fact that we call alcohol "spirit", because one way or another, it is the spirit of the fruit/cereal it was made of. Which also raises the question, if alcohol is the spirit of the grape, what is the spirit of us humans?
