I'm interested in traveling to new cities, but not too far from my home. Also I would like a place to stay in any nearby city that bands I like are passing through.

I like to know where my money's going when I use it (i.e. I try to shop locally/ethically). I think big business has too much influence over journalism and politics.

I think the best way to explore a town is by having a resident show you around. Also, I'm doing a cross-country trip when gas prices are record-high.

I support small business as much as I can. I love going to new cities, especially small cities and just spend a few days there to try to get a feel for it.
