ABOUT ME

Hola!

I started with CS a long long time ago when I still lived in Peru, moved to Melbourne, Australia 15 years ago and never looked back :) I work in management for a multifranchise in the Automotive Industry, it was a huge career change but I truly believe a life with changes and fresh starts makes it more colorful and rich. Also, I DJ quite a bit around Australia and overseas, mostly latin music.

I love nature and traveling of course, used to travel all I could around my country, the jungle, highlands, hidden desert beaches that nobody heard from ... and lucky me, I never got to see even half of it! :) Lived in Venezuela studying capybaras and in Argentina doing research on howlermonkeys. Biology has alwasy been part of my life.

I practiced falconry, which is a type of sport when you train birs of prey -like eagles or hawks- to fly to your arm when you whistle... ok ok is more complex than that but you get the idea :)

I also like dancing... No wait! I love dancing and do it quite often. Used to be a Cuban Salsa instructor in Australia a few years ago and I really enjoyed that.

Also, I feel a deep connection with the moon, often go road tripping outside Victoria to find cool camping spots.

PHILOSOPHY

I think I am a dreamer ... a passionate person, my heart has changed choices that my mind did once ...

I used to study Economy (3 years) but left it for Biology, I love animals and focused in Animal Behavior researching. Now living and working in Australia in a totally different career :)

I love Pachamama.

I call the moon "mi esposa" ( my wife ^^ )

I love dancing, I get completely lost with myself when I dance, I dance salsa, merengue and maybe samba if you beg me haha but is the only way I forget about everything thats going on in my mind at that moment ...

TO THE CRAZY ONES ...
Here's to the crazy ones.
The misfits. The rebels.
The troublemakers.
The round pegs in the square holes.
The ones who see things differently.

They're not fond of rules.
And they have no respect for the status quo.

You can praise them, disagree with them,
quote them, disbelieve them,
glorify them or vilify them.
But the only thing you can't do
is ignore them.

Because they change things.
They invent. They imagine. They heal.
They explore. They create. They inspire.
They push the human race forward.

Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that's never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?

We make tools for these kinds of people.
While some see them as the crazy ones, we see genius.

Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world,
are the ones who do.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music mmm I think I dont like only one type. The most I used to listen is Trova (Cuban) I feel sometimes that music choose you, you dont choose the music. I dont normally listen commercial music I guess and of course, anything danceable is always good!
Music depends in ur mood and who you are with :)

Movies! All time favourites Seven, Star wars, Memento, Butterfly effect, La Vie est belle, Les intouchables, Todo sobre mi madre, Jeux d'enfants, etc I like most of Almodovar movies and Tarantino is a genious! :)

Books! The Fifth Mountain, Veronica decides to die. Le Parfum by Patrick Suskind... Mafalda! and also John Livingstrong Seagull by Richard Bach ( its pretty small but so good!, "Motorcycle Diaries" by the daughter of El Che, "Y Derepente, un angel" by Jaime Bayly.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I used to work with wildlife in the Amazon ... if you see my pictures I guess you will have an idea what I used to do :) My work was in Ethology (animal behavior studies) so I lived in the virgin jungle for many years of my life. Lots of storied to tell about that.

Countries I’ve Visited

Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, Czech Republic, England, France, Lithuania, Peru, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, United States, Venezuela, Viet Nam
