ABOUT ME

I love my family(ies), friends, job, house and cats (in pretty much that order). Most people say I am pretty mellow. I don't believe that I am an "average American," but good luck finding someone who will call themselves "average" in a country of rugged individualists...! In the time that I am not teaching, painting or traveling, I do all things gardening and landscaping, therapeutic (and unlicensed) massage, and, an array of art. I also host international students and work with Hospice.

I host and I meet people when I travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed in Morocco, Russia, the Netherlands, Peru, Germany, Slovenia, Austria, South Africa and Mexico. I treasure the people I connect with. I have met some very kind and educated people.

兴趣

I like to travel most of all, but when I am at home I garden, paint, and spend time with my cats. I frequently return to Guatemala where I was a Peace Corps volunteer twenty years ago.

Well, I've hiked the Grand Canyon, a temple in Tikal; Machu Picchu; castles in India, Germany, Slovakia, Slovenia and Austria; climbed cathedrals in Russia, and traversed a little of el camino in Spain.... Don't force me to chose.
