Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love hosting :) And my last surfer inspired me so much, I wrote a book on the Art of Couchsurfing.

I love the sharing lifestyle. Whether we share stories, food, ideas, homes, or cars - this is how humanity can authentically live.

Remember centuries ago when a tired traveler wandered into a hamlet - a local would open their door, invite them in, give them a hunk of bread and a place by the hearth for the night. Stories might be exchanged, or perhaps hardly a word spoken - no problemo. CS is but an extension of this age-old custom (bread might be optional).
