We’re Zhijian and Evelina—partners in crime since 2017! Our story began when a curious Swedish girl went to China and stumbled upon Zhijian in his *small* town of only 6 million people.

Since then, we’ve been on a mission to explore the world, try the wildest, most adventurous food we can find and meet incredible people. That’s why we’re here on this platform—always hungry for new experiences and meet amazing people!

We both love food and cooking , hiking , going on road trips and playing games. We always travel with a few games in our bags, and that is probably the only thing in our bag we have never argued about if it’s necessary or not.

We’re super grateful for the chance to meet new friends in places we’ve never been. There’s something special about people opening up and sharing their life stories—it’s one of the things we love the most.

When we're back home, we love hosting Couchsurfers too! It’s like traveling the world from our own apartment, while discovering new spots in our own town.

We’ve met so many awesome people through Couchsurfing that it sometimes feels like we’ve collected a second family all over the world!

For us, it’s never about just finding a couch to crash on… it’s about the stories, weird snacks, and those “how did we end up here?” moments we share with our hosts or other people we meet along the way 🤓🥰

We love food.
Love sitting at home and planning our dinner, go down to the grocery and shop. Get home and cook it and then the best part, to eat it!

We love playing board games & card games and is always traveling with a few games in our bag( as mention before haha) so yes we really love games.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In January 2020, after nearly a year in New Zealand on a working visa, we decided to buy a van and explore the country for three months and we fell in love with the van life fast and wanted to stay a bit longer…. So weeks into our journey, the borders closed due to COVID, allowing us to extend our stay unexpectedly!!

What began as a short trip turned into four more incredible years, during which we experienced New Zealand like never before with no tourist , and we remain deeply grateful for this unique adventure!
