Conquer the World
I maintain a healthy news diet and stay informed about how our country can look at the current crisis and consider it an opportunity. I come from a war torn country where I was forced to keep other priorities such as staying fed and alive. Now that I'm a grown-up living on safe soil, I can look back at my accomplishments and experiences and claim that I am a whole, genuine and strong person who has a passion for life. I love travel. It's what keeps me sane.
I have traveled and lived many places. I am from Bosnia, I grew up in Germany and lived in Tennessee and California and have recently relocated to Portland as part of a work promotion. I also spent time abroad in France. Countries I had the pleasure experiencing:
Ghana, West Africa
USA: Illinois, New York, Tennesse, Florida, Ohio, Missouri, Kansas, Oregon, Washington, Nevada, Utah, Georgia, California, Texas. So much more to see...
The things I do not want to live without:
The sun, Warming Bottle, Chapstick, Beer, Music, Dancing, Travel, Coffee
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My social life has exploded as a result of joining the CS community. The idea is to hang out with all the local hosts (eventually your friends) and their guests. Even when you are unavailabe, you can still participate in contributing to the experience of the traveler in your area i.e. get drinks, dance, share stories, hang on the beach, go to house parties, explore the local gems, do sight seeing etc. My network has built up so fast and my mind has been broadened more and more since I first joined in July 08. I have met all local ambassadors and have frequently organized and co-organized events.
I host. I love the idea.
