CURRENT MISSION

Mission Impossible

ABOUT ME

I am a laidback person who enjoys meeting new people.
For me, travel is meaningless without some sort of contact, at any level, with the local people of a place I visit. However beautiful a place, at the end of the day, for me, it the people of the place that make me like the place or not.

PHILOSOPHY

SBNR
Coming from a Jain background I guess all my moral and philosophical beliefs spring (or should do) from the central concept of AHIMSA. Unfortunately it is much more easy concept to accept in theory than to apply in practice. But I am trying.
Keep it simple.
Do not judge or be judged.
Do not cause suffering or take suffering.
The world needs less religion and more spirituality.
My conscience is the highest authority in my moral decisions. I do not need, and indeed find it an insult to my conscience and intelligence, to think that I need a preacher or a book to tell me right from wrong.
