Hey Hey,

I'm Svenson. I live in sunny Cyprus since a bit over 5 years now.
Before I moved here my life was based in Berlin. And I have also lived longer periods in London, Paris, New York and Prag and Kyiv. One day I probably will move to the Philippines.
I shoot videos. For companies, individuals and small businesses.
I am a professional content writer and photographer too.

In Cyprus I started in the capital Nicosia, moved then down south to Larnaca and after two years headed west to Paphos. In Paphos I moved now (Feb 2025) into a new place, a small but cozy one bedroom apartment in a local area, opposite the university.

Feel free to contact me to hang out, do some pictures or videos together and/or stay-over here for some nights. Usually I offer a max stay of 3 nights, but let's see how it goes.

I like talks, having a glass of wine, stand up early and go down to the beach, which is just 5 walking minutes away. Usually I go to bed quite early to wake up not too late and have much of the day. Being on the beach holding a coffee in hands early mornings is a good feeling.

I am writing a book at the moment, also venturing into online business. Always curious on new ideas, new countries and meeting new inspiring, fresh and open minded people.
I am always open for life in almost every positive direction.

I love travelling in South East Asia and Eastern Europe. I have travelled from Ukraine to Kazakhstan, visited all the Baltic states, lived some time in the Czech. Republic, went to Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Moldova, Croatia,... And in South East Asia I love the Philippines the most.. Thinking of buying a condo there soon, probably Cebu area.

Cyprus is a very cool place for now. The expats and digital nomad scene is compareable with Madeira, Lisbon or other places. Lots of things happening. There are meet-ups and social tables for almost any topic. Loads of people moving here since 2020. The island speaks fully english (former British colony) and is generally very open to foreigners.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I like hosting various people from various backgrounds. Traveling artists, musicians, traveling models and content creators or whoever in on tour. There are so many free-spirited souls on the road nowadays.

When I have time I show people the city and help them with their plans and projects.
I shoot photos or videocontent for my visitors instagrams or other accounts.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I often hosted many people in my former place in Berlin.
Musicians, artists and for a good part also travelling models from Ukraine, Hungary and Russia.
Now I do the same in Paphos, Cyprus.

Huge book and writing and journaling lover.
Photography and videography is rather my job than my love, but I LIKE to do it very much. :D

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Being my first time in california and coming down to the beach near La Jolla, San Diego. The air, the light, the atmosphere. Producing and being in the caribbean sea is always ... no words for it. Love. Joy. Pure.
Being in the Geiranger Fjord in Norway and sitting in the middle of the night, with full light around since it never got dark there, in front of my little wooden house and watching the silent lake. .. And well, every photoshoot from a helicopter with its doors wide open is great every time again.
... And there were dozens of great New York moments on rooftops which i don't want to miss in my memories.
