I grew up Vancouver, Canada I did my first solo backpacking trip at 18 and was amazed at how my world expanded. I moved to Melbourne in 2017 for uni and ended up getting a job at a global accelerator program for social enterprises. While in Australia I met my partner Nathan. We have lived together in Glasgow, Vancouver, and now again back in Melbourne!

I love being outdoors and am a firm believer in the "no bad weather, only bad gear" saying! I love to dance in the rain - growing up in a rainy city like Vancouver will do that to you.

I like to travel to see people and have experiences rather than see sights. Some of my best travel memories are from meeting awesome people or doing something really unique. Trying out local food is a must.

I've recently quit my corporate job and am traveling BC before returning to Melbourne in Oct 2024.

Ever since I started learning about the sharing economy/ circular economy I have been searching for ways to engage in it. I love community gardens, second hand stores, and of course, was naturally drawn to couchsurfing! I initially joined ages ago (though lost that account for some reason...) and am an avid believer in what it stands for.

In Melbourne, my partner and I hosted a lot of people and loved it. we love meeting locals and fellow travelers. I have made such incredible connections through this platform, and cannot wait to continue to meet like minded people through here. I have had so many great memories from traveling alone as I am super happy spending time by myself, but having a platform like Couchsurfing has really made meeting people who are down to earth and easy to get along with so much easier!

Not watching a lot of TV but some come to mind… completed the Game of Thrones books and the show, Last of Us game and show, I’m also into some stoner shows ;) - Rick and Morty, Bojack Horseman, Midnight Gospel.

One of my fave shows was Love, Death and Robots - it’s a super weird anthology series and I love it, would recommend giving it a watch!

For books I am a big fan of heavy volumes of fantasy series - the sword of truth series for one, Abhorsen trilogy, the deed of Paksenarrion... GoT of course. Would love any fantasy book recommendations!
