Hello fellow CSers! I currently work full-time in research and am applying to Nursing school, so my time is a bit strained nowadays and my hosting style is a bit less involved. But I have the space to share and always up to host when I am home!

I love to meet new people, eat new food, and see how people really live in new places that I travel. I have a passion for learning about cultures other than my own, and I find that it is best to do so by meeting local people in every place that I travel and really trying to immerse myself in the daily life and culture.

I am pretty new to Albuquerque, but really enjoying everything about it so far! I love that there are tons of things to do outside, bike trails all over the place and great day trip locations all over the state.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel to experience the culture of the places I am visiting. Because of this, I find that it is best to meet up with or stay with locals to try and get the most authentic experience possible.

Interests

Filling in the blanks, obviously.

But really, I love to read, swim, bike , knit scarves, bake, take photos, learn handy phrases in different languages, and plan crazy trips for when I win the lottery someday.

I should probably stop there or this list will be obnoxioulsly long.

Books: Crime and Punishment, the Harry Potter series, The Kite Runner... just a few that popped into my head. I am a real bookworm, so any recommendations are welcome :)

Movies: Sin Nombre, Inception, The Breakfast Club, and Instructions Not Included.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A friend and went on a 3 week backpacking trip all over Spain, visiting as many of the autonomous regions as we possibly could!

I volunteered in a hospital when I was 18 (and again now!), and have assisted nursing staff and moms during the birth of many children and the care of many newborns.

I've traveled to 4 continents within 1 year!
