ABOUT ME

Hello there, Im Tajda (pronounced TAY-DAH, we pronounce j like y in yoghurt:) from Ljubljana, Slovenia. I decided to join the Couchsurf because I think it includes the ideas and principles which I support and want to keep, such as being open to new, foreign people, sharing your living space (in my case I have plenty of space, which sometimes seem all too empty and has a potential to become temporarily occupied:), cultural exchange&expanding own horizons and last but not least honesty and trust(worthiness). As I dont want to just talk about those ideas I'm ready and eager to apply them to real life!:D
Otherwise Im an university student here in Ljubljana, studying fine arts (photography, heres my brand new, in-the-making website https://hladilnikcom.wordpress.com/), my other interests include cycling (when it's not too cold), hiking, dance, ice skating (when it IS cold), foreign languages (speaking some poor french on peut dire). I am nature-lover who adore snow and also a proud cat person&owner :D (cat on my former profile photo isn't mine).

As concerning couchsurf activity, I had an opportunity to be a couchsurfer in Riga, Latvia, for 2 nights, it was very pleasant despite the modesty of accomodation:) Cause what a frank personal contact can give you can be (literary) priceless and far more valuable (at least to me) than any luxorious appartment:)) So Im challenging myself to be the best host I can be!

I could write much more, I feel, but it's always better to get to know someone in person. So if you just happen to be in Ljubljana im here, for now:D (untill some student exchanege, I hope)...
