ABOUT ME

I began traveling in July 2014, starting in WA state, went east, spending most of my time in Columbus, OH and outside of Greenville, SC, then drove across again, surfed in Portland, OR for 6 months, got the wander itch again and landed in Lakewood, OH. It's been an adventure! I visited with a few friends and mostly Couchsurfed across the country and back. I want to live somewhere with a decent economy, friendly people, good energy, fun things to do and not a cost of living that makes you house poor. My passion is to travel, so want to be able to do more of that in the future.

**Update** 10/1/15 Unfortunately I left Portland after 6 months because the cost of living was too high. I'll miss you Portland. I'm in the process of planning another cross country/ Couchsurfing adventure to Lakewood, OH!

**Update** 5/8/22 I haven’t been on here in a long time. I purchased my first home 4.5 years ago and became domesticated; I really enjoy working in my flower beds. I found affordable living but not much going on here, so have that itch again. 😁

I've had hosts in Portland, OR; Missoula, MO; Rapid City, SD, a few in Columbus, OH; Memphis, TN; Austin, TX; El Paso, TX and Sedona, AZ. I love this community!

I really enjoyed the book and movie, "Wild." I tend to read more magazines and internet articles over books these days. Prescriptions for Nutritional Healing is definitely a go to, since I like to help people with health issues, when I can.

I'm a classic rock girl...love me some Hendrix, The Doors, Janis Joplin but also enjoy Indie music. I saw Edward Sharpe and the Magnetic Zeros for free in Atlanta and loved them! Bluegrass is fun too, I saw the, The Infamous Stringdusters, while living in Greenville, SC and they were awesome! I really appreciate all kinds music.

I worked on a cruise ship when I was 20-21 years old and got stranded on an island in Panama because the skiff got beached. While a few of my pissed off co-workers were waiting for the tide to rise, I was laying back and watching to most amazing meteor shower of my life! I've never seen anything like it since...
