About Me

Hii, my name is Tanya, I’m a full time architecture student, but I aspire to do so much more in my life outside of architecture and traveling is one of my favorite things, so whenever I have time I try use it for visiting new places and countries and getting fun experiences.
I’m new here, but I’ve heard a lot about Couchsurfing and always wanted to try that, so I’m happy to finally start.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new and interesting people from all over the world and learn through them languages and explore local culture and I think of one the best ways to do it is with this app. Also of course since I’m still a student I don’t have too much money and when I’m traveling I’m usually on budget, so not spending it on stay is really helpful.
I live in Belgrade in small one person apartment, but in the future I hope to also become host one day and get to help other people as someone would help me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Favorite movies: I origin, Interstellar, Fallen angels
I’m not too picky about music and I love almost all genres,, it just depends on my mood and the state of life. Lately I’ve been listening a lot Radiohead and Frank Ocean
Existentialism, psychology, anti utopias and classics are my favorite type of books. And if I had to choose my favorite book it would probably be 1984 by George Orwell

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m Serbian, but I grew up in Russia till 18, so I kinda have a mixed mentality and the collision of these two cultures which also make my surroundings and friends quite interesting. I always love to share interesting facts abt this countries as well as doing some language exchange of course as I’m also currently learning Spanish with aspiration of one day living in Spain and also visiting Latin America. I love to draw so I can teach you some of that or draw you instead. And also I’m learning guitar, but still have a long way to go and if you know how to play I’d always appreciate some guidance hahah.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I’m not the biggest cook, but I can make few nice meals if you’d like. And if you need any help around the house whether it’s chores or doing something creative, I’m happy to offer my hand.
