Overview
About Me
I am a natural woman.
I speak several languages and am an enthusiastic reader and learner in general. I am into philosophy and elements of several spiritual traditions the main one being buddhism, but open to others as well.
I appreciate art, creativity, self-made-ness, auto initiative and organization
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Its value lies in meeting open and friendly people to mutually infuse a breath of fresh air into the sometimes mundane daily life, thus stirring up some energy. To interact with people non hierarchically, warmly, as human with human...
Interests
Spiritual and personal growth, somatics, dance
Creating art ourselves as opposed to only consuming it. Art making is for everyone and should not be elitist. I generally do not like sitting in a concert for hours admiringly watching professional musicians perform music. I like playing music myself - on my own or in the company of others. When I hit the guitar strings, the Universe's energy stirs up and the moment comes alive!
I like listening to radio, it is one great way to explore the world: http://radio.garden

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy reading, as much as my free time allows it. Examples are Albert Camus, Rumi, The Dhammapada, Small Is Beautiful by Schumaher, Tools for Conviviality and other books by Ivan Illich, Nietzsche and many, many more
I have played several music instruments, and am currently in a guitar period. I am a Flamenco music afficionada, I listen, watch, read, dream and play it cause I like to enjoy it with all of my senses.
I explore cultures in different ways - by learning their languages, reading, traveling, observing their people and also through film. So lately I have been watching a Turkish series called Magnificent Century which allows an insight into the present-day mentality and the cultural fusion on the Balkans and in Turkey.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Everything and nothing is amazing... This moment can be amazing... Let us make it such!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can show you a selection of special charming spots in Plovdiv and its natural surroundings, hidden from mainstream view (panoramic points in the city or beautiful woods, rocks and waterfall trails outside of it).
I organize a weekly Friday evening social meetup for CSers and others which you can join.
We can go swimming in Plovdiv it is summertime..
We can go to several good places to eat in Plovdiv and beautiful secret views over the city and the Main street.
We could speak in several different languages, discussing culture, etymology, art, politics and the world or other topics we find of common interest.
I can introduce you into the World of Esperanto - the language, culture and global community.
We can do lots together: maybe go for a foodie experience.. or listen to, play or sing acapella... watch movie shorts.. read a play together like we are actors... draw the cityscape after a walk.. or do you have another fresh idea?
What I Can Share with Hosts
Have a good time together, become friends also beyond a single travel experience making the world a more cosy, human and open place. Enjoy and learn from each other and create warm and easy going human connections.
