ABOUT ME

I'm a passionate traveler and used CS a lot when I went backpacking around the world years ago. I'm based in Berlin now, mother of 2 beautiful children, elementary school teacher by profession, story teller/ performing artist by heart and happy to keep exploring...

PHILOSOPHY

For me the magic of life is, that we're all the same, humans, on this earth for a while, looking for our path; and at the same time everybody, everything is special and unique; everybody has own experiences, talents and emotions, able to contribute his/her personal part to this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I just logged in here after many years. curious to explore what CS has become. Once upon a time I surfed couches and met amazing and wonderful people in US, Mexico, HongKong, China, India and Europe. We could also welcome and host a bunch of people in our place in Mexico and India. I´m sad to see that most of my friends didn`t log in for long time...But maybe there is a chance to meet new friends?

I know CS is from the early times and I was lucky enough to experience some of the magic that happened back then. Now I`m here to explore if some of the magic is still around...and ready to contribute my share of it.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Every person is special and to meet people is a great present, that life is offering to us. It´s such a humbling experience to see the variety of lifes, minds and souls offered by this world. There is no better way to travel and explore a place than dipping into the life of a local person and learn from each other.

Meet us and dig in to our version of family life in Berlin. Be part of our daily routine, check out Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood, if there is time visit our favorite or check out new places together.
Meet us on the road and share some stories or create new once together, or maybe just listen to the sound of life side by side.

Music: classical music (especially Chopin, Jenkins, Barber, Glass); world music/ singer-songwriter; easy listening; Reggae and Dancehall; sometimes HipHop and Punk; I'm a beginner in blues n jazz; all kinds of street-music.
I love books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wanted to see Mexico, but destiny threw me on a crazy journey through HongKong, China, Laos, Thailand and finally India where I met a beautiful soul who turned out to become my companion for a very long time and still is my family and parenting partner.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: German, basic linguistics, how to pack your back when backpacking with children
I can give: tell stories, take care of children, all kinds of games and songs, tell you about my traveling/India experience, walk/ hike/ boulder/ swim/ cycle/ learn or just hang out together.
I`d like to learn: all kind of artsy things, dance, ping pong, cooking, gardening
