ABOUT ME

I'm a passionate traveler and used CS a lot when I went backpacking around the world about 10 years ago. I'm based in Berlin now, mother of 2 beautiful children and happy to keep exploring...

PHILOSOPHY

For me the magic of life is, that we're all the same, humans, on this earth for a while, looking for our path; and at the same time everybody, everything is special and unique; everybody has own experiences, talents and emotions, able to contribute his/her personal part to this world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I surfed couches and met amazing and wonderful people in US, Mexico, HongKong, China and India. I could welcome and host a bunch of people in my place in Mexico. In summer 2009 I made a little Europe tour with my friend, offering free workshops, meeting and exchanging with interesting and beautiful people in Austria, Germany, Netherlands and France. Later we lived in Kolkata and could welcome people once in a while.

For me CS is NOT:
A dating forum, a place to find free accommodation, a social network (we have FB and others for that).
For me CS IS
a platform to really meet people, exchange and learn from each other. I will not answer your message, if you just copy paste and don't even take a look a my profile. If CS is like that for you, ok, but it is not for me. Please respect that!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Every person is special and to meet people is a great present, that life is giving to us. It´s such a gigantic feeling to see the variety of lifes, minds and souls offered by this world. In this commercial times, where sometimes money has more value than lifes, CS made me see, that peace, trust and connection between people still exist. And for me there is no better way to travel and explore a place than dipping into the life of a person, that is living there.

I'm very much fascinated by communication in all ways: languages, art, music, dance, rituals,...

I enjoy spending time with reading, chatting, theatre, performance, art, music, dance, playing games and outdoor activities...

All depending on the mood I'm in.
Films: Le Fabuleux Destin d'Amélie Poulin, run Lola run, bodysong;
Music: classical music (especially Chopin, Jenkins, Barber, Glass); world music; easy listening; Reggae and Dancehall; sometimes HipHop and Punk; I'm a beginner in blues n jazz; gypsy-style and all kinds of street-music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I wanted to see Mexico, but destiny threw me on a crazy journey through HongKong, China, Laos, Thailand and finally India where I met my soulmate.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach: German, beginner piano, linguistics and language development;
I can give: chat and listen, take care of children, all kinds of games and songs, tell you about my traveling/India experience
I`d like to learn: nearly everything especially languages, music, design
