About Me

I'm Tatsuya Oka from Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan.
I'd be happy to help you explore the beautiful Seto Inland Sea!
I have extensive experience guiding international guests around Japan.

Some of my favorite places are in my home region—Hiroshima, Mihara, Onomichi, and Okunoshima, also known as "Rabbit Island." I also love showing people around Hiroshima City, Miyajima, and even the Shikoku area, which is accessible by car via the scenic Shimanami Kaido Bridge from Onomichi.

I can give you a lift to a roadside station (Michi-no-Eki) in Mihara, a great hitchhiking spot—many of my guests have caught rides there quickly!
I can also take you by car to Mt. Kiro Observatory Park along the Shimanami Kaido. From there, you’ll enjoy one of the most breathtaking views in Hiroshima Prefecture. (It was even ranked the 3rd best view in Japan in a popular Japanese guidebook—but it’s quite hard for foreign tourists to reach on their own.)

If you're in Hiroshima Prefecture, just hit me up!

Famous local spots and legends I can show you:

Mt.Misen(Miyajima)

Peace memorial museum, park and Abomb dome
