About Me

I am an open person who loves travelling around the world and learning about different cultures and lifestyles.

I love music, cinema, photography and dancing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My passion is travelling and I love meeting people that are living in the country that I am visiting. It is really fun sharing experiences with them and learning about their cultures and lifestyles.

It gives me an opportunity to :

- Share my culture and show the hidden corners of my city to my guests.

- And to explore the world from a different perspective and to discover new places as a local person instead of as a tourist.

I haven't tried Couchsurfing yet, but I am a faithful member of airbnb and blablacar, and I've alway had really good experiences there.

I am really looking forward to start my Couchsurfing experience.

Interests

I´ve been playing the guitar since I was 14, but I am not a professional player :) . I love going to live music concerts and enjoy a cold drink while watching them (or dancing).

I had always loved photography and when I was young I did a course in photo development.

I have travelled to many different countries and I have many friends around the world. The most amazing places where I have been are: Lapland, Brazil and India.

In Lapland I slept in a cabin with glass ceiling in the middle of a frozen lake, 1 km away from the shore. I could see the northern lights from there. It was awesome.

In Brazil I was really luky as I meet lots of nice people who with I shared different experiences. One day I went to a favela with one Brazilian guy and his family. We went to fish on the high seas and then went to the family house to eat the fresh fish and typical Brazilian food that the family cooked. It was really fun to share that day with them and learn about their culture.

In India I have one of my best friends. I went to visit him this year. The completely different culture and landscapes that they have was really striking at first. But it was amazing to share the different tastes, traditions, and colours of the country with them. I felt really welcomed and will come back again soon.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like different music styles. Depending on my mood, I like listening to blues, jazz, rock and roll, swing, rockabilly or reagge. I also like pop music and hip hop when it comes to dancing.

Films that I like: Little Fockers, Shutter Island, Life is beautiful, Pearl Harbor, and Butterfly's Tongue.

My favourite book is Cathedral of the Sea by Ildefonso Falcones ( I really recommend this reading).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In one of my trips to the Pyrenees in Spain I did cliff jump. I jumped from a height of twelve meters. It was really amazing.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am really looking forward to learn about new cultures and lifestyles. Learn a different language and how to cook a typical dish.

I would also like to discover different music styles and meet and share new experiences with new people.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are interested in hosting me or staying at my place, I can share with you my knowledge on the Spanish culture, and on the secret places to visit or go in Madrid.

I can teach you how to dance a Sevillana or make a Spanish omelette :)

I am really looking forward to make some new friends around the world.
