To challenge myself and the world around do all kinds of good. To read, write, learn, and grow.
I'm Hillary. I graduated SUNY Purchase in May. I founded a student-initiative called the Art Co-op on campus. It's a group that aims to recycle materials and be a general space for discourse among people learning new things and it's always great for bartering art supplies! I did my senior project at Purchase on the modern women's roller derby revival. It's a photojournalism project and was great experience, since it's a super interesting sport with lots of empowered women. I also play in a couples bands: one's called baked goods and I sing and play guitar and write songs. its sort of rock and roll. the other one is called judith buttstuff and i play guitar and its definitely rock and roll.
I believe that the individual reflects society and vice versa. That's why I want to constantly put myself in new situations to trick my brain into falling out of ennui.

Teach, Learn, Share
I have experience working in co-ops (I was an intern at the SUNY Purchase Food Co-op and started an Art Co-op here), I can read tarot cards and interpret horoscopes, I have a knack for collecting and finding interesting and old things (learned from my dad, an antiquer), I can play guitar, cook vegetarian food (can make a mean curry), shoot and develop black & white 35mm and 4x5 in pinhole cameras, i also love fashion and style and have been a personal stylist for many of my friends for years ;)
