About Me

I’ve been a teacher for years and also work as a psychology consultant, specializing in family counseling, personality disorders, anxiety, and depression. I live in Toronto, Canada, and have a deep love for people, culture, and nature. Hosting guests from different countries, including Spain and the UK, has been a wonderful experience for me. I believe the world is a place to spread love, and I enjoy traveling, cooking, and exploring different traditions. Nature is my escape—I love immersing myself in it and finding peace in its beauty.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on Couchsurfing because I believe in the power of human connection. Meeting people from different backgrounds, sharing cultures, and spreading love and kindness make the world a better place. I love hosting travelers, offering them a peaceful and welcoming space, and showing them the beauty of Toronto. Likewise, when I travel, I enjoy being hosted by locals who know their cities best and can introduce me to hidden gems. For me, Couchsurfing is about friendship, cultural exchange, and making unforgettable memories.

Interests

I’m deeply interested in connecting with people—chatting, laughing, and sharing stories over good conversations. I love exploring nature, going on walks, and experiencing the beauty of the outdoors. Music and concerts bring me joy, and I enjoy hanging out in lively or peaceful settings alike. Getting to know different perspectives and understanding how people think fascinates me. To me, every interaction is a chance to learn, grow, and create meaningful connections.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love reading books on history and psychology—they give me a deeper understanding of the world and the human mind. Some of my favorites include The Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle and Sapiens by Yuval Noah Harari. When it comes to movies, I enjoy family films, comedies, and action movies with a meaningful message. I also love TV series that focus on family dynamics and human emotions. Music is a big part of my life—I appreciate anything that soothes the soul and uplifts the spirit.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One of the most amazing experiences of my life was hosting incredible people through Couchsurfing. I had the chance to meet a wonderful woman from the UK and a traveler from Spain, and together, we created unforgettable memories. It felt as if the universe aligned everything perfectly for us to enjoy our time together. Now, I can proudly say that I have amazing friends all around the world. Another thing I deeply cherish is my work with orphaned children and women in need—I have always felt honored to support and uplift them. Teaching was also a beautiful chapter in my life, where I put my heart into guiding my students with love. And to this day, through psychology, I continue to help people whenever I can, which brings me great fulfillment.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing my knowledge and experiences with others. I can teach meditation techniques, as well as offer insights into managing anxiety, depression, and emotional well-being. I also enjoy cooking, especially Persian and Mediterranean food, and would love to share that with others. Dancing, deep conversations, and simply being a good listener are things I value. In return, I’m always eager to learn from others—whether it’s a new perspective, a skill, or just a different way of seeing the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love bringing positive energy wherever I go and sharing meaningful conversations. I can cook delicious Persian and Mediterranean meals, teach meditation techniques, and share insights on mental well-being, including managing anxiety and depression. I also enjoy dancing, storytelling, and exchanging cultural experiences. Most of all, I believe in spreading kindness and creating a warm, friendly atmosphere wherever I stay.
