ABOUT ME

I am a lover of all things food and adventure, nature and dogs. I always have more fun when I plan less .

I finished university, saved up and moved overseas. I lived in Belgium in 2014 as an au pair. Amazing country, great cultural, interesting people and I got to travel around Europe. I still have so much to still see.

PHILOSOPHY

It's good to try new things, it's good to face your fears, being positive can change your view of life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I can be shy, I can be outgoing, I can be funny, I can be daring, I can be conservative, I can be adventurous or spend a day on the couch, I can cook and sometimes I can not. But I always love to laugh and meeting new people means learning something new and sharing stories from all around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The first time I couch surfed was in a different city in Belgium. It was such a great experience. After living in Belgium for 1 year, staying in a different city still gave me the opportunity to meet more like-minded people and learn even more about Belgium.

Interests

Animals & nature, board games (can get really competitive). Food and dark chocolate, fine wine and mojitos. Orangutans and the saving the environment. The beach and running.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love movies, all varieties except horror and definitely 'minion' related. I read a lot of book with strong female characters. Music is a daily requirement to a happy life and I have my moments where I can listen to just about anything. I love suggestions on movies, books and music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a child I lived on a small island in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, it was the beginning of my travel bug. Since then every opportunity I've had to travel I've worked hard to get there. Living in Belgium last year has been an accomplishment. A completely different experience to Australia.

Teach, Learn, Share

I enjoy meeting all types of people. We may not become the best of friends but there will be something we both walk away knowing that we didn't know before.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Forget feeling awkward, just feel like you are the oldest of friends. If you give off good vibes and be comfortable then your couch surfers will have a great time.
