Hey!

I'm Liza, an artist currently living in Austin, Texas, but originally from St. Louis, Missouri. I spend my time painting, drawing, building installations, performing...pretty much anything creative that requires paint clothes and moving my body. I'm on a mission to color my way around the world and get to know new people, new cities, new food.

I am a pretty relaxed person and I enjoy walking around new places, especially with new friends!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think it's simple... people are great! The more I travel and meet others, the more obvious it becomes that most people want to help each other. Couchsurfing has allowed me to engage with the city or country I'm visiting in a completely different way (even places in my own state).. you get to experience the culture, the food, the day to day life, the general goodwill of people on a whole other level.

Interests

I love to cook, I love to eat
I enjoy seeing street art and murals around the world and meeting other artists and listening to all sorts of music. Two of my favorite things to do in a new place are to learn about architecture and ride trains.
