ABOUT ME
As a traveler, I'm not sure if I'm trying to "Eat Pray Love" or "Lost in Translation". Really, it's probably a mix of both.
One of my favorite parts of traveling is being somewhere you've never gone before, where nobody even knows your name: that's when you really get to know yourself.
I also love meeting new people and getting to know them. My favorite trips are the ones where I wind up having fun with people who used to be total strangers!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I love meeting new people! I'd love to meet some travelers and possibly host some, and I'd love to surf myself.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My boyfriend and I hosted a very nice couple from Paris once, and it was great! They were really nice, we spent some time together and went out to dinner, but mostly they went off on their own to see Chicago and Detroit. It was a pleasure meeting them, and they were incredibly polite and respectful during their stay. I've never surfed myself, but I'm curious to try.
I AM an experienced houseguest -- I've surfed my friends' couches from Seattle to Washington D.C. (and once even down to Lubbock, Texas).
