Music, Movies, and Books

I love way too many kind of music, movies, and books to list them here.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Riding my bike through tiny villages in the hills of Sicily with my dad.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am all about awesome animals so I will use this space to extoll the crazy awesomeness that is the Mantis Shrimp. Humans have four kinds of cells that detect light in our eyes. 3 of these are cones and that allows us to see the spectrum of color we see. Some animals have fewer, dogs have two kinds of cones while butterfly have five allowing them to detect UV light. The Mantis Shrimp has 16 different cones. These cones allow the shrimp to see a massive spectrum of colors as well as detect polarized light. In addition these eyes are mounted on totally independent appendages, making their perceptive powers even more impressive.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, I'll happily cook for you. I could help you with some math or physics homework. Want to hear some random facts? I've got you covered. I'm pretty handy and could change a bike tire or maybe help you with computer problems. Am always down for outdoors activities.
