I work as a project manager at IBM in Wroclaw, I was an application developer before. I also compose music for theater.

I've studied (PhD) at the University - Anthropology of Music. That means, any kind of musical activities will be interesting for me - is it Japanese folk music, thrash metal, Beethoven Ninth Symphony or whatever.

I play in a band, performing traditional Polish folk music, I played also in some Brazilian samba & maracatu drums bands - in Wroclaw (Os Loucos, Sambacatum) and in Vienna (Maracatu Novo Toque). In the past I've also studied piano at conservatory.

I'm interested in making this world a better place to live for everybody. Recently I did postgraduate studies in Humanitarian Aid, I hope in future I'll work in this area. I'm also vegan (in Poland, although during travels it varies).

Some of mine friends in my home-town are couch-surfers and they drag me in. During my travels I've also met accidentally some couch-surfers and it was always a positive experience. So, I want to do the same - help others in getting the best possible travel experiences, both as a traveller and as a host.

Lonely trip by bike across Central Europe (Wroclaw - Paris - Wroclaw).

Lonely trip by bike across Eastern Turkey and Central Iran (Trabzon - Shiraz).

Run 120 km in mountains (ultramarathon).

I found a SILENCE. It was in a small, rocky valley in Iran. Hot, dry air, no wind, no animals nor plants, no traffic, no distant plains nor trains, just emptiness - and no sound. I could hear my blood being pumped through my veins. It lasted for 10 minutes, before I heard a car, far, far away (several kilometres?). Like in deep space, just me and the SILENCE.
