About Me

Live with intention and love everyone. Starting with myself!

I have a huge appreciation for life and for this present moment. I love meeting uncertainty with playfulness and discovering how I can create this life moment after moment.

I am creative, warm, open-minded, attached (working on it...), curious, compassionate. Despite my gentle demeanor, I try to live mindfully, struggle a lot, and all this can lead to intense discussion... Be warned :) I can easily talk for hours about anything from psychology to ecology, and laugh about how all the talking is ridiculous.

I love people who are unafraid of real conversations, who have some level of self-awareness, and who enjoy alternative lifestyles.

I find it absurd and amazing how forgetful the human race is, and that we relearn the same lessons again and again... If only we would remember everything life has taught us - we'd all be enlightened!

I spent most of last year living/working at a zen buddhist monastery in the beautiful Californian wilderness. I did 5-month kitchen apprenticeship, followed by a 2-month meditation intensive. It was incredible. Now the travel bug is reawakened and I am exploring integrating my practice into life in the world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Expressed more through a hug (and tears) than possible in words. Felt closer to nature than to any human being. Lost the sense of Self.
