ABOUT ME

I love to Travel! This September my husband and I are doing a backpacking honeymoon. My husband, Nick, hasn't traveled outside of the U.S. before. I am so excited to share travel with him, and share all the wonderful experiences that come with travel. I hope to find a CS host or 2 to stay with while we travel. CS was such an amazing experience for me last time I traveled. CS is such a wonderful opportunity to connect with locals and get a truly unique experience, and meet amazing people.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed in Italy, Switzerland, Austria, and with "non" CS friends in England, Scotland and Ireland. I had such a wonderful experience and the people I met were so phenomanal that I can only hope to provide such an experience to someone else.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

All of my couch surfing hosts and experiences were different yet all of them wonderful. In switzerland my host invited me hiking with his friends to lake Lucern and I would not have been able to experience that otherwise- not only because the company was totaly awesome but also lake lucerne was amazing freakin beautiful! I enjoyed the hosts who wanted to get to know me and share about themselves and learn about me too. I had a host who hosted many many people all the time, (6 others while I was there), and that was Tons of fun as well. I met other couch surfers and we all attended a CS meeting and got to meet others too!

Music: Soooo much music I like, Rock, rap, hip hop, classic rock, folk rock, blue grass, Punk, Metal, Pop, Emo, Indie, Electronica, pretty much all genres, even a little country and classical.
My preference changes with my mood... buut here are a few to give you an idea: Modest mouse, lily allen, portishead, kanye west, citizen cope, lady sovgiern, the beatles, bob dylan, the doors, led zeppliin, nofx, bad religion, ratata, morcheeba, lady gaga, Jackie Greene, sublime, Daddy yankee, katy perry, tom petty, Muse, silversun Pickups, death cab for cutie, postal service, and so so so much more!
Movies: comedy, romance, drama, suspence...just can't handle the horror movies. Favorite movies of all time: Amiele, 500 days of summer
Books:David sedaris books, Lorien Lost by Michael King, Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Twilight, Anne Rice books, and many more!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Hiking around lake lucerne with a CS host and his friends- the views were breathtaking! Ended up leading informal pubcrawls around Rome as I knew my way around a little bit, and many travelers at the hostel I was staying at had only just arrived. Meeting some Irish girls on a shuttle bus and ended up meeting up with them in the next 3 cities we visited, working with them for 3 months at a hostel in Greece, and then visiting them at their flat in Scotland and now they will be coming to visit me next year to be a part of my wedding! (all from one little bus ride! who would have thoguht!) Getting to be the bartender on a booze cruise around a Greek Island. playing beer pong with a bunch of friends of friends in Ireland. So so much more (thanks for all of you who contributed yourself to by amazing trip and experiences)

I am into astrology as well, not my most knowledgeable subject but I love to discuss it!
