Hi there!

I am Teun, a 25 years old student studying Sustainable Development in Utrecht. I am passionate about the environment, geopolitics, other people and their cultures! In short: just being able to learn a little bit more each day of this planet we live on :) Besides that, I love to play guitar, go to concerts and festivals, and of course travelling!
I've played baseball for a couple of years, but now I mostly cycle a lot (gotta stay Dutch) and now I play squash and tennis.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from all around the world, showing them what regular life here is like, but also meeting other people abroad to see what their lives are like in other countries!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled hitchhiking in a milk truck through Serbia, climbed a volcano in Guatemala and crossed the Amazon on a 4-day local ferry.

I can teach you some Dutch things of course, and tell you about the culture (hint: we do not wear clogs in daily life ;) ).

Of course I love sharing my travel experiences and I am very curious about yours!
