Overview
About Me
I am a Korean resident who has lived in Seoul for over 60 years. Over the years,
I’ve traveled to various countries and cities, including North Korea, mostly for business.
Today, I travel for leisure, consciously aware of the environmental impact of international travel, including carbon emissions and climate change.
When I travel, I focus on reducing my carbon footprint and supporting local communities in their efforts to combat global warming, often referred to as "sustainable travel."
I welcome you to explore and implement your ideas and actions for sustainable travel during your stay at my home.
A lover of nature, I enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, climbing, and fishing.
I value the Couchsurfing spirit of respect, sharing, and connection, aiming to foster respect, friendship, and trust on our planet.
To give more travelers the opportunity to experience Couchsurfing, I prefer to host those who are either trying it for the first time or have limited experience, typically for a maximum of three nights.
I live with my younger daughter in her late 20s and I also have another daughter in her early 30s.
Our home is conveniently located just 30 minutes from Seoul’s city center by subway, or bus, and is near the forested area of Bukhansan National Park.
Please be aware that there is a steep 200-meter uphill walk to reach my house. While this might be a challenge for those with large luggage, it is more manageable for backpackers.
I do not host smokers.
