About Me

🇵🇸 فلسطين حرة / Free Palestine 🇵🇸

Currently between Algiers, Algeria and Montreal, Canada.

Avid traveller - Visited around 130 countries.

Been playing Football/Soccer since age of 8 and currently Canadian Bronze medalist holders in the +35 y.o Canadian League

I enjoy playing Tennis and Running, participated in many long distance runs such as the original marathon in Athens, Greece and recently ran the full Montreal Marathon holding the Palestinian flag 🇵🇸 for 42km.

Work in Financial Governance and Risk Management. Made the move from corporate to now mainly serve Indigenous communities across Canada.

I keep travelling as long my passion for travels is alive, planning a Middle Eastern Tour this winter : backpacking from Iraq to Saudi Arabia

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was always curious and dreamed to discover the whole world since I’m a kid, through my travels I heard about CS and I believe this platform will help me to fulfill my curiosity, meet amazing people I wouldn’t meet in the daily life and help me to communicate with locals in my travels.

Interests

Mainly sports, travels as everyone here, languages and worldwide cultures

  • traveling
  • sports
  • palestine

Music, Movies, and Books

While I love Worldwide music & stories, I’m really connected with the Middle Eastern or Northern African culture.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In one world : Travelling. I look back and think about all these experiences, connections, meetings and people, I had the chance to know live and know

Teach, Learn, Share

I don’t feel like Im an expert in one particular area (maybe can teach you something about Algeria?) but through my travels, culture and life experiences I’m sure I can share a different POV of life and happy to share anything I know.

Life is an eternal place to learn and that why I continue my journey on exploring the world.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don’t use CS as a free place to stay but to connect, very happy to help with the expenses and sharing quality time and of course, it goes without saying, receive you back and show you around Algiers or/and Montreal if we happens to be there at same time
