ABOUT ME

I dislike smelly people though sometimes I am smelly and then I don't know what to do. I scream in public and then act like I wasn't the one who screamed. I enjoy deadpan humor though occasionally people get the impression I'm being a jerk... then I make a fart joke and all is well.

Basically I don't take myself too seriously and try to live a somewhat honest and fulfilling life just like everyone else.

PHILOSOPHY

The universe is acting upon you. You can either be indifferent to it's machinations and become a pawn, or you can act for what is right and alter it's course, however slightly that might be.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am looking forward to meeting new people and sharing in their lives and cities, at least for a few days or so. Having had two excellent experiences already I am looking forward to hosting some surfers in California when I return home.

Surfed in Brussels and Brugge. It was better than I could have ever imagined!

US Boy Scout Jamboree 2001, Backpacking through Point Reyes National Park in California, surviving 3 days sans water and sans food (ok not really amazing, but difficult).

I'm fairly well versed in Middle East history if you care to know. I'm naturally curious and I couldn't possibly tell you something I want to learn, it's more a matter of just experiencing it.
