My name is Gloria, but people call me "Glo" and I like to think it has a little to do with the positivity and light I try to radiate!

10 days after I finished university, I booked a one-way ticket to Europe. Couchsurfing has always been a huge part of my travels, but now 5 years and 60+ countries later, I travel now mainly for work (I'm a full-time travel writer/photographer).

So now I try to take a few weeks off to explore cities and countries strictly for pleasure and not my Instagram (https://instagram.com/glographics) or blog.

I've been on Couchsurfing since 2012, and though there's no doubt it's definitely changed over the years, I still hope there are people on here who find beauty in the new friendships, cultural exchanges, and expanded perspectives.
