ABOUT ME

I love getting to know different places, I'm especially interested in culture (ethnic culture as well as arts, going out, customs, clothes, design, food, and so forth). I'm not that much interested in sightseeing boring things. Some sights are great, though! But I'd rather get to know "real", authentic culture. Although I only speak German and English (and can say basic stuff in Indonesian), which is quite little for a European, I love language, dialects and words. But I've learned about quite a lot extinct languages, which I'm also interested in. I absolutely love dressing up, doing crazy make-up and I also act, sing and play the ukulele (although just for fun and not very professionally). I love nature, trying food that some other people would be disgusted of (insects for example), and playing all different sorts of games. I love going to the cinema, theaters and musicals. I like strolling around through little design shops and go vintage shopping. While at home, I try eating organic, fairtrade and only meat and dairy products from pasture management. During travelling, I'm not that picky, because it's harder to be.
I love learning new stuff and discussing things of all different topics.
Oh, and I love my twin sister, my family and friends. :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I wish I could host, too, but I am currently living in a flat share with friends who don't want to host. So I'm only happy to be someone's guest :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never hosted anyone so far, nor have I tried couchsurfing myself. But I've been at couchsurfing events in NYC!

Interests

I love to think, which might sound nerdy, but I'd actually consider it as my hobby. I like taking photographs (sometimes), play childish games with my twinsister or start projects, I like discovering secret places, especially when they are old or even abandoned. I love going barefoot. I join the scouts (=children, nature, games,...). I love house plants, I like old picture frames, going to the museum, I love reading and I'm totally into language science and language history. I like chocolate. I like learning, going to the cinema, taking baths and looking out of the window. I love dressing up and doing crazy make-up (see my pictures). I mostly use second hand clothes for that and I go to costume sellings of theatres sometimes. I also like movies with a twist.

I'm very good at remembering lyrics and love to sing along :D One of my hobbies is learning raps :D

Teach, Learn, Share

I am good at doing crazy make-up (also for boys for going out) and I can sing together with you! I am quite good (but not unbelievably good) at taking photos and maybe I could teach you some German of even some of my little Indonesian.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can make Austrian Pancakes (Palatschinken) - they are a bit like crepes.
