"E quando você quer alguma coisa, todo o Universo conspira para que você realize seu desejo."
I'm an open minded person ready to do anything anywhere. I love to travel and meet other people, other cultures and exchange thoughts and opinions. I am a really good listener, thats the way I learn what life has to give to me, but if you let me talk I'll have many things to talk about, and please, ask me me to stop if it becomes too long haha.
I started a trip through South America and I dont have a limit time to finish this, can be 6 months or 6 years, I dont know! My objective it's to go with the flow but not just traveling and knowing the places. I most like to live and work for a while in some places, as I did in Paraty (Brazil), Buenos Aires and now Cordoba (Argentina), for me thats the best way to know deeply about the culture, the place and it's local life.
I will try to translate a portuguese poem that is always in my pocket (and in my head). This is what I think about life...
"Whenever you need to know when a stage comes to the end. If we insist on staying longer than the time required, we lose the joy and sense of other stages we have to live. Finishing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters. No matter what name you give it, what matters is to leave the past moments that have finished. Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them go away. Let go. Drop yourself. Lift Off. Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes loose. Before starts a new chapter, we must finish the previous one, tell yourself that what has passed will never come back. Remember that there was a time that you could live without it - nothing is irreplaceable, a habit is not a need. Finishing cycles. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because that no longer fits your life. Close the door, change the disc, wipe the house, shake off the dust."
(Fernando Pessoa, portuguese writer)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I found in this community exactly what I was looking for. A way you can travel without spending thousands of money and the same time meeting open minded people whose aim is the same of mine, exchange!
Photography, books and music are the basic things that I cant survive without. I also love to travel, go to the cinema, read a book, go to the theater and walk or ride a bike through the streets without a destination.
